For those that are looking for opportunities for Guided or self guided adventures, Breakaway Adventures can offer you several options.

Breakaway Adventures rents 16' Mad River canoes and Dagger 16' canoes. These canoes are a little extra wide which gives added stability. The Dagger canoes work great for multi-day float trips from Telegraph Creek, BC. located 160 miles up the Stikine River, or for a little less ambitious trips to some of the Forest Service recreational cabins located on the Stikine River or for exploring around some of the saltwater based cabins. The Mad River canoes work great for 2-4 day paddles on the U.S. side of the Stikine River. Dagger canoes are $60.00 per day, Mad River canoes are $40.00. Price includes life vests, paddles, throw bag and bailer bucket.
Breakaway Adventures also rents Dagger "Atlantis" model single kayaks, $40.00 per day and Dagger "Trinidad" model double kayaks, $60.00 per day both models come with paddles, life vest, bilge pumps and throw bags. Just like the canoes, these kayaks are great for trips from Telegraph Creek, BC. and for exploring the Islands around the Wrangell area or any of the Forest Service recreational cabins.
Breakaway Adventures also rents a 17' skiff with 90hp outboard motor. For those that don't want to do the paddle thing, this is a popular option. Once again this is a great option for use around the Forest Service recreational cabins in the area. The skiff is good for up to 4 people. It comes with fuel, life vests, anchor, map etc. everything you should need to go exploring around the Wrangell area. $120.00 per day.
